Far away from the Brazilian carnivals tones, SAmBA De La mUERTE looks more like a fusion between James Blake's melancholic poetry, Mount Kimbie’s air melodies, Local Natives choir voices, a little Bon Iver touch… Post-folk, indie folk, folktronica, whatever… SAmBA De La mUERTE, it’s the Norman freshness which seizes various genres to create Beauty. But it’s also the personal project of Adrien, usually playing keybords with CONCRETE KNIVES. Difficult not to be charmed by the atmospheric compositions and Adrien's high-pitched voice, sometimes filled with a deeply moving sadness, sometimes in charge of a friendly hope. Accompanied with Corentin at the guitar and voice, Gabriel (SUPERPOZE) at the percussions and Martin (ex - Concrete Knives) at the bass, they had their dream team.
Their first EP 4 is released in November 2013 and received very very good critics. But their favorite field is definitively the live!
