Moderat is the coming together of two of the most renowned German electronic projects:  Modeselektor & Apparat. Gernot Bronsert, Sebastian Szary and Sascha Ring are the paradigm of the Berlin sound and a far cry from the 4x4 cliché: On the one side, there’s Modeselektor’s dense yet playful approach, a mixture of techno and bass music, and on the other side the more thoughtful, sophisticated pop of Apparat.
