MIRE KAY (A Tenderversion Recording/SE)
Mire Kay is the new project from Emelie Molin and Victoria Skoglund. Touring and recording together since 2003 in the band Audrey, Mire Kay is their first sidestep as a duo from the previous mentioned quartet. Together they have already made hundreds of shows all over Europe and Japan, released two albums and one EP, selling thousands of records and downloads all over the world. In Mire Kay Molin and Skoglund takes on a more intimate constellation as a duo and therefore gives the music more space to grow and the musicians themselves more freedom to explore their instruments and voices. Their first album To Rising Tide Lifts All Boats released in April 2013, is sprinkled with the same magic we can find in the albums of Kings of Convenience and Emiliana Torrini tiny voice.
A dream world, soft and melodious, to let go itself, feet in the grass or close to an open fire.
